Wet underfloor heating is one of the most economical and sustainable ways of heating a home.
Unlike radiators that work at between 60 and 80 degrees C, the water in underfloor heating is heated to between 45 and 55 degrees, depending whether you have concrete of suspended wooded floors. This means your boiler will use less fuel to heat your home.
Underfloor heating also provides a lovely, cosy warmth that radiators cannot achieve. A warm floor means your feet will never get cold in winter, and as heat rises, heat is more even and more conformable in each rooms.
Another often forgotten benefit of underfloor heating is that you have extra space in every room as there is no need to hang large radiators on your walls. That means more space for shelves, wardrobes and home comforts.
